Bluffing in Sit-and-Go Tournaments

Don’t try to pull off a last second power bluff on the river. Play as if you’re holding strong cards throughout the entirety of the hand. Use your tight image to make strong situational bluffs. When you are caught trying to bluff, use your busted play to collect more chips when you’re holding monster hands.

Australian Open Novak Djokovic (SRB) vs Rafael Nadal (ESP) ATP

Yet when the final rolled around, he beat Federer - who had an extra day to rest - in five sets that reduced the usually composed Swiss player to tears. Now a weary Djokovic has less than 48 hours to prepare to face Nadal, one of the most fit players in the game.

London 2012 chairman Lord Coe admits he is "less bothered" about medals tables than British success at this year's Olympics, and says he wants the Games to be remembered for "great British moments".

Coe, who won the 1500m at the 1980 and 1984 Olympic Games, says that he wants Britain to be proud of the Games and believes the start of the Torch Relay in May will capture the public's imagination.- http://news.bbc.co.uk/

Olympics 2012 news 12BET update 1/10

Following completion by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) of the main structures on the Olympic Park, the site will now officially be handed over to LOCOG to begin transforming it into a fully-operational venue.
Dennis Hone, ODA Chief Executive, said: 'We hand the Olympic Park to the Organising Committee fully confident that they will continue pressing ahead on their preparations so that London 2012 becomes a brilliant once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and experience for everyone involved.'
LOCOG will now commence 'ramping-up' work to fit out venues and stage testing and licensing events. This will include constructing 100,000 square feet of Games-time retail space, installing the ‘look and feel’ of the Games throughout the Park and sourcing a million pieces of sport equipment.
LOCOG Chair Seb Coe said: 'The handover of the Olympic Park sounds the starting pistol in the race to get the site and venues ready to host the two biggest sporting events on the planet.
'In just 200 days time, 200 countries – more than the membership of the United Nations – will be sending 15,000 athletes and 20,000 accredited media to London to create history.' - http://www.london2012.com

Olympics 2012 news 12BET update 1/09

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXX Olympiad or "London 2012 Olympic Games", are scheduled to take place in London, England, United Kingdom from 27 July to 12 August 2012. London will become the first city to officially host the modern Olympic Games three times, having previously done so in 1908 and in 1948.
London was selected as the host city on 6 July 2005 during the 117th IOC Session in Singapore, defeating Moscow, New York City, Madrid and Paris after four rounds of voting. The successful bid was headed by former Olympic champion Sebastian Coe.
The Olympics prompted a redevelopment of many of the areas of London in which the games are to be held – particularly themed towards sustainability. While the budgetary considerations have generated some criticism, the Games will make use of many venues which were already in place before the bid, including Wembley Stadium, Wembley Arena, Wimbledon All England Club, Lord's Cricket Ground, The O2 Arena, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, and the Excel Centre.

26 NSAs snub POC evaluation meet

PHILIPPINE Olympic Committee president Jose Cojuangco Jr. was left disappointed when only 16 out of the 42 national sports associations that sent athletes to the recent 26th Indonesia Southeast Asian Games showed up for an assessment meeting with the POC last Tuesday.
"This was what I was afraid of when POC secretary-general Steve Hontiveros called for the meeting with the NSAs, and this is exactly what happened," Gymnastics Association of the Philippines secretary-general Bettina Pou, who attended the affair, quoted Cojuangco as saying.
Aside from gymnastics, which claimed it had produced one bronze in the meet although this has yet to be reflected in the official standings of the 26th SEA Games website, also represented were archery, basketball, bowling, cycling, chess, equestrian, golf, canoeing/dragon boat, fencing, judo, billiards and snooker, rowing, wrestling and wushu.
Among the prominent no-shows were athletics, swimming and shooting, medal-rich events in the regional sports showcase, but ended up as big flops in Indonesia.
Promising at least six gold medals, athletics finished with just two while swimming and shooting had none.
In all, Filipino campaigners ended up with a 36-56-77 gold-silver-bronze tally, good for sixth overall, the country’s worst finish in the games that started in 1977.- http://www.malaya.com.ph/
