This is the second match for Malaysia team after we got draw with Singapore for the first match which is 0-0 without any goals. Hopefully Malaysia u23 get some new strategy and any rhythm to beat this team. But, Thailand is the top team in the Asia.
Defending champions Malaysia will meet Thailand in the second match of Group A. Malaysia became the champions of 2009 SEA Games in Laos after defeating Vietnam in Final. And in this event, They targeting to defend their title in Indonesia. Malaysia joined to ‘Group of Death’ along hosts Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Cambodia. In the first match, Malaysia tied against Singapore.
This match will be held at Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno on November 9th, 2011 starting at 4 PM. For Thailand, this is their first match. Thailand failed in 2009 SEA Games in Laos and they lost their title at SEA Games. Thailand is defending champions since 1993 until 2007 at SEA Games.
